A study of 1025 13-17 year olds, published in the open access journal BMC Neurology, found no association between the use of computer games, mobile phones or television and the occurrence of headaches or migraines.
Even while the recent outbreak of acute serious lung disease in vapers is challenging the skill and technology of the medical field, a new report published in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine on September 16, 2019, says that a natural plant oil called pulegone, which is used to impart a minty flavor to e-cigarettes, could quite possibly be carcinogenic at the levels found in these devices.
A new migraine supplement, PreTreat Complete, with active compounds designed to reduce the frequency and intensity of migraine headaches is now available.
A pan-European initiative led by the University of Plymouth designed to train the next generation of brain tumor researchers, has received funding of almost €3.7 million from the European Commission's Horizon 2020 - Research and Innovation Framework Program.
A report issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that only 4.4 percent of the nation's children aged 6 to 23 months were fully vaccinated against influenza during the 2002-03 influenza season, the first season CDC encouraged influenza vaccination for healthy children.
