Urinary tract infections can quickly move from being a merely miserable experience to a life-threatening condition. The European Society for Medical Oncology is offering a five-day medical oncology course for medical students in Valencia, Spain, in its latest venture to engage with the medical student community. The course aims to attract medical students to the medical oncology profession to ensure there are sufficient numbers to care for the rising numbers of cancer patients.
