Inhibiting infants' tongue movements impedes their ability to distinguish between speech sounds, researchers with the University of British Columbia have found. The study is the first to discover a direct link between infants' oral-motor movements and auditory speech perception.
Mayo Clinic and its collaborators have been awarded nearly $60 million from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) to improve health care delivery.
The Company reported a net loss of $730,000 or $0.01 per share for the second quarter of 2009 as compared to net income of $101,000 or $0.00 per share for the second quarter of 2008.
