"Now that we know how the body defends itself against the Chlamydia bacteria, we can develop a vaccine that optimises that defence. We have a basic understanding of how the vaccine could work, but some work remains to be done. A victim rights group is calling on the National Football League to denounce the myth that Super Bowl Sunday is a "day of dread" for victims of abuse. Stop Abusive and Violent Environments – SAVE – believes such claims foster hysteria and trivialize the problem of domestic violence.
The GW Cancer Institute is in its second year of funding from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure to help increase the quality of survivorship care for D.C.-area breast cancer survivors.
