Now scientists at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center have found a way to break through that defense, and their research represents a potential breakthrough in the treatment of pancreas cancer.
Knopp Biosciences LLC today announced the publication of a report in the journal Blood that a Phase 2 study of dexpramipexole in hypereosinophilic syndromes met its co-primary endpoints.
A team of researchers from Indiana University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center have been awarded a $4.1 million National Cancer Institute "Cancer Moonshot" grant to develop immunotherapy treatments for cancer in children and adolescents, especially those with leukemia.
In a Correspondence article published in the April 29, 2021 issue of the New England Journal of Medicine, researchers from University Hospitals (UH) Cleveland Medical Center, and New York Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell Medicine in New York, found a substantial reduction in the use of minimally invasive surgery for cervical cancer after publication of the results a major study called the Laparoscopic Approach to Cervical Cancer (LACC) in November 2018.
Patients who survive acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) often leave a hospital intensive care unit with debilitating mental, physical, or cognitive problems that may limit their quality of life.
