A new study finds that plasmonic sensing of LAMP amplicons through DNA hybridization enables highly specific detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNA.
Syneron Medical Ltd., an innovator in the development, marketing and sales of elos™ combined-energy medical aesthetic devices and Candela Corporation (NASDAQ: CLZR), a pioneer in the development of medical and aesthetic laser based technologies and systems, today announced the successful closing of their merger.
One study suggested that 42 percent of people with type 2 diabetes who are treated for the disease do not reach their blood sugar goals, putting them at higher risk of organ and tissue damage, blindness and even death. We wanted to explore potential causes of clinical inertia among physicians and people with diabetes, which may lead to sub-optimal care.
Emissions of the air pollutant sulfur dioxide have been dramatically decreased during the past 30 years but for some people even a little inhaled sulfur dioxide may still be too much.
HHS Secretary Tommy G. Thompson announced last night during a visit to Navajo Country $4.25 million to support a new initiative to reduce racial and ethnic disparities in infant mortality.
