For the third consecutive year, Rush University Medical Center has been named a Leader in LGBT Healthcare Equality in the Healthcare Equality Index (HEI) report, an annual survey of U.S. hospitals regarding treatment of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) patients and their families and hospital employees.
ZOLL Medical Corporation announced today that in a "Best of the Best" presentation at the American Heart Association Resuscitation Science Symposium in Orlando Florida, Daniel P. Davis, M.D., presented research from the University of California Resuscitation Research Center that shows a major improvement in patient outcome after cardiac arrest.
Over the last 20 years, complications have decreased and survival has improved for extremely preterm infants, according to a study in the September 8 issue of JAMA.
