The University of Illinois at Chicago's ImpacTeen project has been awarded a $4.4 million grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to study policy and environmental factors that influence youth behaviors related to nutrition, physical activity and obesity.
Scientists from the University of Surrey have developed a rapid and highly sensitive fingerprint test that can take just seconds to confirm whether someone has used cocaine.
The research was carried out by researchers at Queen's Management School, the Geary Institute for Public Policy at University College Dublin, and the Department of Health Behavior, Society, and Policy at the Rutgers School of Public Health, and has recently been published in the Review of Income and Wealth.
Florida Hospital today announced it's the first in the United States to implement the Babyleo TN500 IncuWarmer beds from Draeger, Inc., a world leader in medical technology. With an estimated 15 million babies born preterm annually according to the World Health Organization, this technology is critically important for both babies and families. The beds are in use in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) at three hospitals across the health system in Central Florida.
