The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria on Thursday launched a campaign to generate public support for efforts to eliminate mother-to-child transmission of HIV by 2015, the BBC reports. "The Born HIV Free campaign comes at a critical time, with the fund seeking donations of up to $20bn over the next three years," the BBC continues.
Current research does not support the use of smell tests for predicting Alzheimer's dementia, according to a comprehensive review by Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars at the University of Michigan and the VA Center for Clinical Management Research.
MicroPhage announced that it has submitted human data from a pivotal clinical study of its ‘Microphage MRSA/MSSA Blood Culture Test' to support a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) premarket notification process.
