Researchers at the University of New South Wales (NSW) revealed that new cases of gonorrhea and Chlamydia are on the rise in Australia, particularly among young members of indigenous communities.
A University of Minnesota Food Industry Center study funded by Target and released today reveals that hunger is costing Minnesotans upwards of $1.62 billion annually in direct and indirect health and education costs. The Cost/Benefit Study also suggests that interventions aimed at preventing hunger are sound moral, social and financial investments.
Allergan, Inc. and Serenity Pharmaceuticals, LLC today announced a global agreement for the development and commercialization of Ser-120, a Phase III investigational drug currently in clinical development for the treatment of nocturia, a common yet often under-diagnosed urological disorder in adults characterized by frequent urination at night time.
