An international study coordinated at KU Leuven, Belgium, has now disproven this theory. The study shows that receiving little to no nutrition during the first week in intensive care makes children recover faster.

As part of this partnership, the VFW NY will host the inaugural Stop 22 Walk-A-Thon to heighten awareness of the mental health needs of our country's veterans.
