A research team led by Worcester Polytechnic Institute computer science assistant professor Erin Solovey is working to develop a system that could extract that information by merging computer science with neuroscience.

Alimera Sciences, Inc., today announced that it has closed a $5 million extension of its Series C financing which was originally completed in March 2008.
