STERIS Corporation today announced financial results for its fiscal 2011 fourth quarter ended March 31, 2011. Fiscal 2011 fourth quarter revenue increased 14% to $377.8 million compared with $332.1 million in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2010, with growth in all three business segments.
Researchers at Signature Genomic Laboratories, which performs diagnostic genetic testing of chromosome abnormalities in individuals with unexplained physical and developmental disabilities, including autism, recently characterized a broad spectrum of developmental and behavior problems in individuals with a DNA imbalance that has been associated with autism.
A study from the University of California, Irvine, explains a hitherto unknown mechanism of action for bioactive molecules in commonly used plant-based folk medicines like fennel, camomile and lavender that are used to lower the blood pressure.
