A new clinical study of the German Centre for Cardiovascular Research is examining whether an ultrasound evaluation of the inferior vena cava in acute decompensated heart failure with congestion can be implemented in hospitals' everyday routine and also be conducted in a sufficiently large number of patients.
Researchers at Indiana University School of Medicine and Rutgers University have developed a new quantitative screening method for diagnosing and longitudinal tracking of autism in children after age 3.
Radiation may be invisible, but it is very easy to measure. With current technology, people no longer need to live in dread of a lethal exposure to radiation in the event that the unthinkable happens.
