An anti-inflammatory drug called roflumilast could become a new therapeutic strategy for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), conclude the results of a randomised trial in this week's issue of The Lancet.
The Department of Veterans Affairs is awarding nearly $800,000 to renovate the heating, ventilation and air conditions systems at Fairchild and Shermanske halls at the Wisconsin Veterans home in Union Grove.
Warner Bros. recording artist Michael Bublé announced during his August 20 concert in his hometown that all profits from the show would go to BC Children's Hospital Foundation's Campaign for BC Children, a $200-million initiative to support the construction of a new BC Children's Hospital and to enhance medical services for children throughout the province.
