An unrestricted grant from Octapharma USA supported the development of a Continuing Education (CE) initiative entitled the "The Diagnosis and Management of von Willebrand Disease," a program of the National Home Infusion Association (NHIA).
A new study has found that a multi-component self-management intervention for adults with epilepsy may be an important tool to increase efficiency in epilepsy care.
An international group of researchers have raised the viability of mice that were cloned using a method called somatic cell nuclear transfer, by stimulating two epigenetic factors, and by doing this have shown that creating cloned animals more efficiently will require further work in the area of epigenetics.
Nowhere in the world has the AIDS/HIV pandemic cut a greater swath of devastation than in sub-Saharan Africa, where two-thirds of all people infected with the virus reside. As Barbara Smith, PhD, RN, FAAN, discovered firsthand, no segment of society there has been left unscathed.
