Schering-Plough Corporation has announced that it has reached an agreement with the Attorney General's Office of the State of Texas to settle issues related to reimbursement by Texas' Medicaid program of albuterol sulfate solution and inhaler products.
Clinician-scientists from NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center are suggesting an immediate and important change to guidelines used in the care of patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI). The researchers say that following TBI, patients should be given nutritional supplementation through a gastric feeding tube as soon as possible, which they say can improve their chances of survival by as much as four-fold.
Companies that invest in robotic process automation or artificial intelligence see much higher performance returns especially if they also invest in people. In fact, the very presence of automation in the workplace is making those work environments more ‘human.'
Giving blood more frequently – up to every 8 weeks for men and every 12 weeks for women – has no major side effects and could help to increase blood stocks, according to the first ever randomised trial of blood donation involving more than 45000 people in England published in The Lancet.
