Synergetics USA, Inc. today announced its preliminary results for the third fiscal quarter ended April 30, 2010 related to the allocation of proceeds from the settlement, license and supply agreement with Alcon Laboratories, Inc. and the expected gain from the sale of the Omni® product line to Stryker Corporation.
Hundreds of thousands of Vietnam War veterans are receiving disability compensation for diseases normally associated with aging - not combat - because of the possibility of a link Agent Orange exposure. The diseases in question range from diabetes, for which 270,000 veterans receive Agent Orange-related checks, to erectile dysfunction.
A new study has found that not sticking to a regular bedtime and wakeup schedule-and getting different amounts of sleep each night-can put a person at higher risk for obesity, high cholesterol, hypertension, high blood sugar and other metabolic disorders.
