Now, researchers at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, Darlinghurst in Australia, CSIRO Data61, and the School of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences (UNSW) demonstrated the most comprehensive analysis of the three-dimensional structure of SARS-CoV-2, providing a new insight into how the virus infects cells and replicates.
The nursing profession needs to harness the power of the video-sharing website YouTube to promote a positive image of nurses, after research found that many of the top hits portray them in a derogatory way. That is the key finding of research published in the August issue of the Journal of Advanced Nursing.

There has been much debate regarding the utility of prostate cancer screening in reducing the rates of deaths due to this cancer among men. While the ERSPC (European Randomized Study of Screening for Prostate Cancer) suggests that screening reduced prostate cancer deaths, the PLCO (Prostate, Lung, Colorectal, and Ovarian Cancer Screening Trial) found that regular screening does not reduce the cancer death rates in prostate cancer. Researchers thus looked at the actual picture as to which of these – ERSPC or PLCO are correct.
It seems logical that programs to screen and manage depression in pregnant, HIV-positive Medicaid patients should already be in place, but they aren't. It's the kind of glaring oversight that Rajesh Balkrishnan, associate professor at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy, said he finds all the time in his research on health disparities.
