A study published in the current issue of Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics by a group of French investigators of the University of Paris unravels new insights as to the relationship between autoimmunity and brain function.
The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute Board of Governors today approved $29.3 million to fund 11 studies comparing the best ways to prevent or treat a range of health conditions that impose high burdens on patients, caregivers and the healthcare system.
Leading HIV/AIDS researchers in Britain and the U.S. are pessimistic about the prospects of developing an HIV vaccine following the recent failure of a Merck vaccine candidate, according to a survey conducted by London's Independent, the Independent reports (Connor/Green, Independent, 4/24).
