The University of Barcelona participates in the European project A-fit (Astronaut Exercise Prescriptions Promoting Health and Fitness on Earth), coordinated by the Karolinska Institute (Sweden). It aims at designing a fitness programme to avoid muscle atrophy associated to microgravity.
