Berinert® is a plasma-derived concentrate of C1 esterase inhibitor (human) indicated for the treatment of acute abdominal or facial attacks of hereditary angioedema (HAE) in adult and adolescent patients. (TPUSA) today announced the presentation of post-hoc sub-group analyses of the EMERALD Phase 3 studies that evaluated OMONTYS (peginesatide) Injection, an erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA), for the treatment of anemia due to chronic kidney disease (CKD) in adult dialysis patients.
The Center for Technology and Aging today announced grants to five organizations for projects that promise to help improve medication use in older adults with chronic health conditions.
In December 2005, Seung-Hui Cho was found to present "an imminent danger to himself as a result of mental illness" by a special judge.
