The Tailwind, a new rehabilitation device that helps stroke survivors improve arm movement, even many years after their stroke, is now available on the eve of May as National Stroke Awareness Month. The exercise device empowers stroke survivors to become more independent and enables them to achieve the tasks of daily life.
SAFEBRIDGE® CONSULTANTS, INC., headquartered in Mountain View, California, has announced that Excella GmbH in Feucht, Germany has met the criteria established under the SafeBridge program for "Potent Compound Safety Certification" and has been deemed competent and proficient in the safe handling of potent active pharmaceutical ingredients ("APIs") and potent drug products.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today approved Voraxaze (glucarpidase) to treat patients with toxic levels of methotrexate in their blood due to kidney failure.
