An international team of cancer researchers that included UT Southwestern Medical Center physicians announced "game-changing results" using the immunotherapy drug nivolumab to treat certain lung cancers that failed to respond to first-line therapies.
Multiple births - twins, triplets or more babies in one pregnancy - have more risks of infant death and long-term disabilities such as cerebral palsy than births of single babies do. However, many couples seeking infertility treatments desire multiples and have poor knowledge particularly about the risks for twins, a University of Iowa study reported.
USAID Administrator Rajiv Shah on Wednesday at the Food Security Investment Forum outlined U.S. plans for its food security partnership with Bangladesh as part of the Feed the Future initiative, the Daily Star reports. The goal of the two-day forum was "to help Bangladesh finalise a roadmap for future investments in food and agriculture," the publication writes (5/27).
NYU Langone Health's Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Cancer Center opened a new state-of-the-art center to treat people with blood cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.
