The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today issued a draft guidance outlining important steps medical device manufacturers should take to continually address cybersecurity risks to keep patients safe and better protect the public health.
Those who have to fight a powerful enemy must look for allies. This is why physicists from different scientific fields have decided to cooperate with biomedical physicians in order to place the fight against cancer through heat treatment by means of magnetic nanoparticles on a solid, scientific basis. It is the objective of the cooperation to improve the success of the therapy.
Regions Hospital reported $49 million in community benefit in 2011. Regions calculates community benefit by using standards set by the Catholic Health Association and used by the Internal Revenue Service for nonprofit hospitals filing Form 990.
