In a recently issued patent, the global pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca describes the discovery of a novel set of potential cancer therapeutics that was found only when the Echo system was used. The latest in a series of contaminated food scares from North America concerns a suspected outbreak of Escherichia coli (E. coli) which has left one person dead and seen many more admitted to hospital after eating at a restaurant in Locust Grove, Oklahoma.
A study by Jeffrey P. Brosco, M.D., Ph.D., of the University of Miami, Florida, and colleagues examines the relationship between medical interventions in early childhood and the increasing prevalence of later intellectual disability.
