Oncolytics Biotech Inc. has announced that it has been granted U.S. Patent 7,300,650 entitled "Reovirus for the Treatment of Neoplasia."
Working with their colleagues at the University of Pennsylvania, researchers at the University of Kentucky have found that they can differentiate between subtypes of dementia inducing brain disease.
"Gathered at the Ford Foundation in New York Monday, international luminaries, family planning experts and women's rights activists ... marked the launch of a new 26-member high-level task force to galvanize support behind the goals of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD)," Inter Press Service reports.
Our new paper published in the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease provides evidence that cooking foods at high temperatures increases the risk of Alzheimer's disease. This study looked at the content of advanced glycation end products (AGEs) in national diets and clinical studies comparing and compared total AGEs to Alzheimer's disease rates.
A new study led by a UTSA researcher examines the social perceptions of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), a medication to prevent HIV, among gay and bisexual men in Texas.
