The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today approved the first generic of Advair Diskus (fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder) for the twice-daily treatment of asthma in patients aged four years and older and maintenance treatment of airflow obstruction and reducing exacerbations in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Botox, appears to alter specific cellular processes that contribute to prostate enlargement according to new study results presented by researchers from the University of Pittsburgh and Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan at the International Continence Society annual meeting in Montreal.
Unrecognised renal insufficiency is common among patients with acute stroke and is associated with a significantly increased risk of in-hospital mortality or severe disability at discharge, say researchers.
