A study published in the current issue of Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics examines a relatively frequent problem. Individuals who fear the dentist should often recur to some kinds of general anaesthesia to have their dental work done. But alternatives are now available.
White House Drug Control Policy Director Michael Botticelli has awarded Boston University School of Medicine's Safe and Competent Opioid Prescribing Education (SCOPE of Pain) program a 2014 National High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) award for Outstanding Prevention Effort.
New data presented at ESMO 2020 have shown that immunotherapy is beneficial for patients with gastric and esophageal cancers who currently have poor survival.
For malaria control goals to be achieved, we must in the future tie funding commitments closer to level of need, says new research by Bob Snow and colleagues from the Kenyan Medical Research Institute-Oxford University-Wellcome Trust Collaborative Programme.
The increase in diet-related illness has led to a high burden of costs for society. However, German policymakers, in comparison with their international counterparts, have so far been reluctant to make political interventions that support healthy eating habits among its citizens.
