Years before those movement problems set in, many begin struggling with fainting, incontinence, sexual dysfunction, anxiety and depression. A new study published in the journal Translational Psychiatry in May 2020 reports the mechanism of action of the drug, which was hitherto unknown. This could help find new ways to treat this debilitating and sometimes fatal condition.
