For the first time doctors have shown that measuring changes in 24-hour heart rate can reliably indicate whether or not someone is depressed.
Sunridge International, announced today that it has completed production and delivery of 60 PNT Units and 10,000 disposable rings to its exclusive distributor, Beijing Vision World Trading Company (BV) of China.
Scientists have long believed that healthy brain cells, once damaged by radiation designed to kill brain tumors, cannot regenerate. But new Johns Hopkins research in mice suggests that neural stem cells, the body's source of new brain cells, are resistant to radiation, and can be roused from a hibernation-like state to reproduce and generate new cells able to migrate, replace injured cells and potentially restore lost function.
Thanks to a close collaboration between the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology, SR Technics and the Federal Office of Civil Aviation, Switzerland is setting an international benchmark by developing a method for measuring emissions of fine particulate matter from aircraft engines.
