The UK based developer of next generation proton therapy technology, Advanced Oncotherapy plc, has selected RayStation as its treatment planning system for the first LIGHT system at the proton therapy facility under construction at Harley Street in central London.
Health Canada has approved Lucentis (ranibizumab) as a treatment for vision loss resulting from diabetic macular edema, one of the major causes of adult vision loss and an important complication of the growing epidemic of diabetes.
Houston Technology Center (HTC), announced today that client company Salient Pharmaceuticals received a $2 million commercialization award from the Texas Emerging Technology Fund (TETF) for the commercialization of their CASAD therapy, an all natural product used to prevent and treat some cancer therapy-induced side effects.
