The Society of Thoracic Surgeons today awarded G. Alexander Patterson, MD with the 2014 Earl Bakken Scientific Achievement Award during the Society's 50th Annual Meeting.
Researchers at Cima and the Clinica Universidad de Navarra (Spain) have led an international study identifying the cardiac cells responsible for repairing the damage to this organ after infarction.
Fate Therapeutics, Inc. received a Notice of Allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for U.S. Patent Application Number 10/997,146 entitled "Methods for Reprogramming Somatic Cells." Upon issuance, the patent will cover foundational induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) technology for identifying agents that enable the reprogramming of human somatic cells, including pluripotency genes, small molecules and biologics.
"Children's Health, The Nation's Wealth" is the motto that all the staff of UAE Exchange Shamshabad branch held close to their heart. The second phase of the Pulse Polio Immunization program, was held across India on February 24th.
