A recent study, currently available on the medRxiv* preprint server, has shown how longer dosing intervals of vaccines against coronavirus disease (COVID-19) may be able to minimize mortality in low- and middle-income countries in the WHO European region – and significantly change our vaccination strategy.
Boehringer Ingelheim and Eli Lilly and Company today announced the launch of the largest multinational survey to investigate early conversations between physicians and people living with Type 2 Diabetes. The survey was developed in partnership with the International Diabetes Federation and will include more than 10,000 people with T2D and more than 6,500 treating-physicians across 26 countries worldwide
On March 3, 2018, a liquid nitrogen storage tank at the University Hospitals Fertility Center in Cleveland failed. Dr. Eli Adashi, a professor of medical science at Brown University's Warren Alpert Medical School, characterized the event as a "tragic accident" in which 950 patients lost more than 4,000 frozen eggs and embryos.
The decline in cervical cancer is a success story of cancer research. Although there are reasons to be optimistic about even further decreases in cervical cancer incidence, there still remain some women who are not screened.
