Experts at The University of Nottingham are looking to recruit men of two specific age groups to help understand the effect of exercise and nutrition on muscle in old age.
Frailty, a decline in function and resistance to short-term stress that typically occurs in old age, is linked to more complications after an operation among adults of all ages, according to researchers of a large new study published as an "article in press" on the Journal of the American College of Surgeons website in advance of print.
The combination of cobimetinib and Zelboraf® (vemurafenib) has been shown to extend the lives of previously untreated patients with advanced skin cancer to nearly two years (22.3 months)
