In the powerful sunlight of July, newly published results from a large study of people at high risk for basal cell carcinoma support the emerging view of the nation's most common cancer as a chronic ailment that often repeatedly afflicts older people but for which the seeds may be planted in youth. The Rainin Foundation offers support for cutting-edge projects that typically are not eligible for funding from more traditional sources due to their ground-breaking, pioneering nature.
Researchers have characterized four distinct subgroups of patients with early Parkinson's disease, distinguished by both motor and nonmotor symptoms.
After a significant increase in April, the Swedish public's confidence in government officials is now back at the same level as it was in March.
