Three years ago the White House launched the Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies (BRAIN) Initiative to accelerate the development and application of novel technologies that will give us a better understanding about how brains work.

The Grete Lundbeck European Brain Research Foundation announced today that The Brain Prize 2012 is jointly awarded to Christine Petit and Karen Steel.
McKesson today announced that three more community hospitals have chosen the company's Practice Partner Patient Records electronic health record and practice management solution for their employed/affiliated physicians. The hospitals, which also selected the Paragon hospital information system to automate care processes in their inpatient settings, aim to enhance communication and care coordination among healthcare providers in their communities.
