The INSTITUT CURIE and IPSOGEN (FR0010626028 - ALIPS) announce the signing of a scientific collaboration agreement in the breast cancer domain. Within the framework of this project, the current scientific knowledge on Ipsogen's MapQuant Dx Grade Genomic, HER2 and HR tests will be increased thanks to new data established from a large population of patients treated at the Institut Curie.

(UELS), a medical device manufacturer focused on providing novel breast cancer screening solutions, announced today that it has received market clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its NoTouch BreastScan™ device. NoTouch BreastScan™ is a contactless breast-imaging tool cleared by the FDA specifically for adjunctive diagnostic screening for the detection of breast cancer.
A new study released today at the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology annual conference shows that food allergies are a much more pervasive health challenge than once thought. About 11 million people - roughly 1-in-25 Americans - are now believed to be affected by one or more food allergies, a disease triggered by the ingestion or contact with certain foods that may cause life-threatening reactions, or anaphylaxis, according to The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN), a co-investigator of the nationwide survey.
A UCLA-led report published today in the Journal of the American Medical Association Internal Medicine exposes what the authors call a weakness in the high-profile "Best Hospitals Honor Roll" published annually by U.S. News and World Report.
