In the current issue of NeuroRehabilitation leading researchers challenge this approach and recommend moving emphasis from dysfunction to competence.
Researchers from The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center have developed a new assessment tool to measure the severity of symptoms that can complicate stem cell transplantation. The tool assesses symptoms resulting from chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD), and was presented with supporting research at the 2010 Bone and Marrow Transplant Tandem Meeting.
Biospace med announced today that it continues to penetrate the U.S. market with its FDA-cleared ‘EOS' x-ray imager—the world's first ultra-low-dose x-ray technology—recently adding new customers in the Midwest and Southeast regions of the United States. In addition, Professor Georges Charpak, inventor of the EOS technology, has received the ‘Centenary Medal' from the French Radiological Society (SFR), the esteemed organization's highest honor.
