A paper to be published this month by University of Hertfordshire researchers about the availability of 'Spice' drugs online will raise new concerns about its mood altering effects.
SCAN Health Plan Arizona announced today that Scottsdale Healthcare joined the health plan's provider network, effective immediately.
Life Technologies has completed a multi-year license and supply agreement with Quest Diagnostics, the world's leading provider of diagnostic information services, that gives Quest rights to develop molecular tests on the Ion Torrent next-generation sequencing platform. Under the agreement, Quest may use the platform and related consumables to independently develop new tests for numerous areas of their business.
A new tool has proved to be four times more reliable at predicting prognosis in patients with ovarian cancer and the most effective course of treatment.
Women with heart disease are more likely to give birth to female rather than male babies according to a new study presented today at the World Congress of Cardiology. The study found that three-quarters of the 216 children born to 200 pregnant women with diagnosed heart disease were female.
