Project Happiness, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization specializing in emotional resilience-building programs, announced today the launch of Hungry 4 Happiness, a viral grassroots fundraising campaign which combines a "chain" of dinner parties that will benefit Project Happiness through a platform that includes in-home promotion, social media outreach and blogger call-to-action.
State leaders have significant power to curb rising health care costs and they should lead the effort, advises a commission co-chaired by two former governors. Meanwhile, a Massachusetts state report concludes that more than a third of health-care spending in that state each year may be wasteful.
Veeva Systems announced today that it will support OSI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. with its SaaS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application, which OSI deployed to its sales team in February after a rapid implementation. OSI selected Veeva CRM® for its ease of use, relevant functionality, and speed.
Harmful algal blooms (HABs) occur naturally, but their outbreaks are influenced by climate change and droughts, nutrient enrichment and manmade factors, such as contaminants from sewage and stormwater discharge, natural resource extraction or agricultural runoff, to name a few.
