CANCER RESEARCH UK today (Tuesday) announced the launch of three new prestigious awards that will recognise world leading cancer researchers and the scientists of tomorrow.
BioSante Pharmaceuticals, Inc. presented a LibiGel clinical study update at the 21st Annual Meeting of The North American Menopause Society (NAMS) on October 8, 2010, with more than 1,000 experts and practitioners in menopause and women's health in attendance.
Researchers show for the first time that a mammal begins to suckle its mother's milk through a learned response built on learning her unique combination of smells. When it is born, the newborn is exposed to the smell of its mother's amniotic fluid and the baby then responds to those smells to feed.
Scientists, clinicians and public health leaders from around the world are gathered in Montreal this week for the 26th International Papillomavirus Conference where they hope to generate awareness about human papillomavirus, Canwest News Service/Gazette reports (Martin/McCallum, 7/4).
According to a new guidance statement from the American College of Physicians all adults should get screened for colon cancer once they get older to reduce their risk of dying from the nation's number two cancer killer.
