Champions Biotechnology, Inc. announced today that it has exercised an option to license Irinophore C, a liposomal formulation of Irinotecan, from the BC Cancer Agency in British Columbia, Canada.
When environmental toxicologist Edward Calabrese in the School of Public Health and Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst heard recently that the U.S. National Regulatory Commission has opened a new docket on proposed rule changes and standards for radiation protection, he felt it as "a vindication of my 30-year career, in many ways."
A team of biologists, led by Clemson University associate professor Andrew S. Mount, performed cutting-edge research on a marine pest that will pave the way for novel anti-fouling paint for ships and boats and also improve bio-adhesives for medical and industrial applications.
On average the earliest memories that people can recall point back to when they were just two-and-a-half years old, a new study suggests.
