MEDNAX, Inc., today announced the acquisition of a neonatal group based in Covington, Louisiana, consisting of two physicians who provide neonatal intensive care and well-baby care at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. The hospital's Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) has annual patient volume in excess of 2,500 patient days.
Very little is still known about how neurons can be generated from stem cells. Researchers at the University Medical Center of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz have now developed a promising technique that will facilitate the differentiation of stem cells into neurons. This even enables them to accelerate the maturation process.
Chromatrap announces that its popular Native ChIP kit is now fully compatible for mass spectrometry (MS) as a downstream process.
