Researchers studying a new medication for neuropathic pain have reported intriguing findings about placebo response versus drug response from a Phase 2a proof-of-concept study. They presented their findings in a poster session at the 2011 International Conference on Accelerating the Development of Enhanced Pain Treatments.
Taking daily supplements of fish or soy oil may improve cardiac function and protect against heart attacks in the short-term. Study results published in the April issue of CHEST, the peer-reviewed journal of the American College of Chest Physicians, are the first to show that soy oil increases heart rate variability (HRV), a measure of cardiac autonomic function.
During this study in Psychotherapy Research, the authors set out to interpret the content and consequences of client's dreams about their therapists and vice versa.
