Care Investment Trust Inc., a real estate investment company that invests in healthcare and seniors-related real estate, today announced that effective as of February 1, 2013, it entered into a joint venture with affiliates of Calamar Enterprises, Inc., owned 75% by affiliates of Care and 25% by affiliates of Calamar, for the acquisition of two senior apartment communities from affiliates of Calamar with an aggregate value of $23.3 million.
For the first time, researchers used positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) for imaging the subcellar function of the heart - from its subcellular function to its morphologic appearance. The results of the study were reported at the Society of Nuclear Medicine's 52nd Annual Meeting June 18–22 in Toronto.
Results presented today at The International Liver Congress 2015 demonstrate that hepatitis C (HCV)-infected genotype-3 (GT-3) patients, with and without cirrhosis, receiving 24 weeks of sofosbuvir (SOF) in combination with ribavirin (RBV) and peginterferon (PEG) achieved the highest sustained virologic response rates at 12 weeks (SVR12), observed in a Phase 3 study, to date.
