However, new research from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center published today in JAMA Surgery suggests that online information about pancreatic cancer is often written at a prohibitively high reading level and lacks accuracy concerning alternative therapies.
The National Institute on Aging has awarded scientists at University of California San Diego School of Medicine and San Diego State University with a five-year, $4 million grant to boost the number of Latino and other underrepresented minority researchers studying Alzheimer's disease and related dementias afflicting seniors of Latino origins, a demographic historically overlooked.
Feeding difficulties are prevalent among many infants born prematurely.
Accenture and Madrid Health Service have fully implemented the Madrid Electronic Health Record (HORUS) system that captures all patient information into a single, integrated record for 26,000 clinicians to access across all parts of the regional healthcare system.
