"Wound healing is one of the most complex biological processes," writes Professor Kazumitsu Sugiura and Dr. Kenta Saito from Fujita Health University, Japan, in their article recently published in Nature's Scientific Reports.
Stem Cell Assurance, Inc. and MDwerks, Inc. announced today a financing and marketing partnership today wherein MDwerks, through it's Xeni Finance subsidiary, has provided the first tranche of financing to Stem Cell for the purchase of various medical devices from Cytori Therapeutics, Inc.
Six new stem cell therapies, all forecast to reach physicians in 2010, will be featured at the 5th Annual Stem Cell Summit on February 16 in New York City. These new therapies include allograft products, innovative forms of autologous stem cell technologies, and at least one FDA-approved stem cell drug. New studies showing rehydration of the disc nucleus, regeneration of new heart muscle and others are also on the agenda.
A team of Michigan Technological University researchers led by Associate Professor of Chemistry Haiying Liu has discovered how to make a strain of E. coli glow under fluorescent light.
Research led by Dr. Carlos Arteaga, Director of the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center, has identified potential targets for treatment of triple negative breast cancer, the most aggressive form of breast cancer.
