Investigators at the Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases at Children's Hospital Los Angeles have identified new findings about an immune cell - called a tumor-associated macrophage - that promotes cancer instead of fighting it.
The Methodist Hospital System became the first in Houston this month to use new technology that dramatically reduces CT radiation doses without compromising the quality of the image.
That is the message that for three months, people living in Herkimer County in upstate New York saw on billboards, posters and public service announcements during breaks in such shows as "Deal or No Deal," the "Today" show, the "Dr. Phil Show" and on Comedy Channel, Court TV, Nickelodeon and Soap TV.
