A study led by researchers from the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore at the National University of Singapore has uncovered a new clue that may help fight acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), the most common form of cancer of the blood and bone marrow, and an aggressive type of cancer. The findings open a new door to treating the disease more effectively.
The cerebellum is a region of the brain that plays an important role in motor control. The Purkinje cells, a class of neurons located in this region, are a major site of information integration that regulate changes in neural connections caused by varying factors such as behavior, environment, and emotions. Thus Purkinje cells provide an ideal location for studying the mechanisms necessary for cerebellum dependent motor learning.
Eppendorf is proud to announce a new addition to the BioBLU Single-use Vessel Adaptor Kit portfolio. The BioBLU 5c and 14c Adaptor Kits allow BioBLU 5c and 14c Single-use vessels to be used on and controlled by Sartorius® BioStat® B-DCU-II controllers (Heat Blanket configuration only).
